The wind brings messages from distant space, from the ancient to the young, but it was also the wind that brought the conquistadors and slavers to the Americas. Messages in the language of Graffiti. A prelude to a larger work, and in the key of F sharp, ZEPHYR is a message from the ocean that saw it all take place, a frozen memory of the slaughter of a continent and its people and civilizations, and the tired limbs that built another Empire atop it.
